The latest versions, ACT! Professional Version 8 (Up to 10 users) and ACT! Professional for Workgroups Version 8 (Up to 100 users), are even more powerful than ever, easier to use and have addressed the need for each business to work in individual required ways.
Both versions, ACT! Professional Version 8 and ACT! Professional for Workgroups Version 8 have been completely rewritten using Structured Query Language (SQL) and the latest . Net technology.
This means that ACT! Professional has the ability to store many more contact records, up to a hundred thousand, in both a single and multiple user setting with more flexibility and stability. In addition, less frequent database maintenance is required using the new relational database structure.
Although ACT! has been completely rewritten it is still very user friendly, easy to use and incorporates many of the features from previous versions. Upgrading from earlier versions to ACT! Professional is very easy providing that the hardware platform meets the required specification. |
